Ministry of Health: No deaths among patients with botulism in Russia

In Russia, not a single patient has died from those hospitalized in recent days in different cities with symptoms of botulism.

The head of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Murashko, spoke about the situation with the outbreak of botulism in Russia. According to the minister, there are no deaths among the victims.

"Complete medical care is provided for victims diagnosed with botulism. In total, 301 people are currently under the supervision of specialists in hospitals, and 43 patients are receiving mechanical ventilation",

Murashko said.

Let us remind you that the first cases of botulism were registered in Moscow on June 14. Since then, they have also been registered in the Moscow region, Kazan, and Nizhny Novgorod.
