Russia and Azerbaijan increased trade turnover in the first half of the year, the press service of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan reports.
From January to June, trade between Russia and Azerbaijan amounted to $2.1 billion. It is 0.15% more than last year. Russia has become third in foreign trade with Baku. Türkiye and Italy are located higher.
Over 6 months, Azerbaijan's exports of products to Russia amounted to $556.5 million, which is 10% less than in 2023. At the same time, Russia is the main importer of non-oil products from Azerbaijan. It was bought for almost $542 million.
At the same time, Azerbaijan purchased $1.6 billion worth of goods from Russia, which is 4.4% more than in the first half of 2023. Russia has become the second supplier of products to Azerbaijan. China took first place.
