Peskov: Moscow prepares for talks with Washington on Ukraine

Russia and the USA are preparing to discuss potential terms for resolving the Ukraine conflict, including how recent talks involving European and Ukrainian authorities may have altered them, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

Peskov noted that over the past two weeks, US Special Presidential Envoy Steven Witkoff has been negotiating with representatives from the EU and Ukraine.

"They worked on a set of key points agreed upon during the contacts in Alaska and subsequent lengthy negotiations. We'll see what happened to this set of points, and we'll see how Zelenskyy and the Ukrainians influenced them",

Dmitry Peskov said.

The press secretary reiterated Russia's desire to achieve peace in its relations with Kiev.
