US Central Command has reported intercepting 70 commercial vessels since the naval blockade of Iran began, with four additional ships disabled.

"As of today, US Central Command (CENTCOM) forces have redirected 70 commercial vessels and disabled 4 to ensure compliance",

the US Central Command reported.

According to the command, 15 ships carrying humanitarian aid have also been permitted to pass through the blockade.
