Russia becomes leader in oil exports to India and China

Russia emerged as the top oil supplier to both China and India in March, according to an OPEC report.

Russian crude exports to India reached 2 million barrels per day, the highest level since June 2025. Saudi Arabia followed with over 600,000 barrels per day, while Angola ranked third with 330,000 barrels per day.

Total oil shipments to China declined by 750,000 barrels per day in March. Russia maintained its leading position with a 20% share, trailed by Saudi Arabia at 12% and Malaysia at 11%.
