In the first quarter of this year, oil shipments via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline fell by 9.8% compared to the same period in 2025, according to Azerbaijan's State Statistics Committee.

Transit volumes dropped by 674,800 tons, totaling 6.206 million tons of oil.

During the three-month period, 82.3% of all oil transported through the pipeline was Azerbaijani crude, while the remainder consisted of oil from Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan.
