Georgia increases fuel imports from Azerbaijan by 27 percent

Georgia raised its imports of fuel and lubricants from Azerbaijan by 27% in the first seven months of the year, totalling $234.2 million, according to Sakstat.

Azerbaijan became Georgia's second‑largest fuel supplier.

In July, supplies exceeded $26 million, showing a 3% year‑on‑year increase.

Georgia's total fuel imports from foreign suppliers reached $1.6 billion, a 50% increase from last year. Russia remained the top supplier, with imports worth $740 million.
