Georgia records 35% surge in Azerbaijani tourist arrivals

Azerbaijani tourist arrivals to Georgia increased by 35% year-on-year from January through September, according to the Georgian National Tourism Administration.

Georgia welcomed 220,200 visitors from Azerbaijan during this period, representing a 34.9% increase compared to 2024. Tourism revenue from Azerbaijani visitors reached $169 million, marking a nearly 33% increase over last year's figures.

Overall, foreign tourists brought Georgia $3.6 billion in revenue in the first nine months – a record amount representing 5.5% growth compared to 2024.
