International internet access restoration commenced as authorities began easing restrictions implemented during widespread demonstrations.

Multiple Iranian mobile subscribers confirm renewed access to previously blocked foreign websites, according to TASS.

The internet in the Islamic Republic was blocked on the night of January 9, leaving only a few national websites and messaging apps accessible. Connectivity restrictions were implemented amid ongoing protests originating from late December public discontent regarding economic conditions.
