Rain causes major power outage in several districts and towns in Dagestan

Power outage occurred in dozens of towns and villages in Dagestan amid rain. Restoration work is currently underway.

Over 70 towns and villages in Dagestan were left without electricity due to rain in the republic, the press service of the republic's Ministry of Emergency Situations informs.

Power outages occurred in 10 municipalities, including Makhachkala.  180 people with 60 pieces of equipment are involved in the cleanup efforts. Restoration work is currently underway.
