Russia-Azerbaijan trade turnover increases by 4.6%

During the first nine months of 2025, bilateral trade between Russia and Azerbaijan increased by 4.6%, according to Azerbaijan's State Customs Committee. Russia accounted for over 10% of Azerbaijan's total foreign trade volume during this period, committee data shows.

Azerbaijani exports to Russia reached $884 million from January-September, showing a 2.8% year-on-year increase, with Russia accounting for nearly 5% of Azerbaijan's total exports.

Non-oil product shipments to Russia grew significantly, totaling $878.9 million and representing a 4.2% increase in non-oil exports during the nine-month period.

An increase in goods exports has been noted, according to the State Customs Committee. From January to September 2025, Azerbaijan imported goods worth $2.775 billion from Russia, marking 5.1% growth in this trade segment.
