Russia proposes modernization of Istanbul negotiating format

Russia has proposed Ukraine to change the format of the Istanbul negotiating platform. Kiev has not yet responded to Moscow's proposals.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that Moscow has put forward proposals to change the Istanbul negotiating process on the Ukrainian conflict, but has not yet received a response.

"We are waiting for response. Just as we are waiting for reaction following the Alaska talks, we are also awaiting a response to our proposals to modernize the Istanbul process,”
