The official meeting between Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has started in Ankara.
Before the meeting, Lavrov and Erdoğan exchanged handshakes and welcoming words.
Lavrov is in the Turkish capital for a two-day visit. He arrived at the invitation of the head of the country's foreign ministry, with whom he had previously held a dialogue. The ministers discussed in detail the implementation of the product deal, the settlement of the situation in the South Caucasus, Russian tourism in Turkey and the relevance of creating a gas hub.
