Türkiye has started the construction of a factory for production of the TOGG batteries. The factory will be built in the province of Kocaeli.
The groundbreaking ceremony for TOGG's electric car battery center will take place in Türkiye’s Kocaeli province.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will participate in the ceremony.
The TOGG electric car is the first Turkish-made electric car. The starting price of the TX10 model is about 953,000 liras.
TOGG electric cars are already in possession of the presidents of Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
