EU to repay Armenia's service with eased visa regime

The European Council approved the European Commission's proposal to start talks around visa liberalization with Armenia.

It is expected that after the approval of the 27 member states, the issue will be referred to the European Commission, which will announce the date of negotiations and Yerevan's action plan, the Armenian media outlet reported.

According to a recent MPG/Gallup International Аssociation opinion poll conducted in Armenia, 57.5% of those surveyed favored integration with the EU, with only 32.8% being against.
