Turkish authorities have detained suspects connected to the organization of opposition figure Fethullah Gülen (FETÖ), which the country's government considers a terrorist group. Security forces detained 41 people, according to a statement from Türkiye's Minister of Internal Affairs, Ali Yerlikaya.
"25 of them have been arrested, and judicial control measures have been applied to seven others",
Ali Yerlikaya said.
It is reported that the detentions were held in Ankara, Adan, Istanbul, Izmir and other cities of the country. According to Yerlikaya, among those detained were individuals who were wanted for extremist activities.
