The election campaign continues in Georgia. Today, the Central Election Commission announced the opening of over 3,000 polling stations across the country for the municipal elections.

Over 3,000 polling stations were opened in Georgia for the local elections on October 4, the Georgian Central Election Commission reports.

"The Election Commission continues active preparations for the municipal elections on October 4. As of September 4, 3,051 polling stations have been opened and are operating across the country,”

– Press Speaker Natia Ioseliani said.

She clarified that members of precinct election commissions (PECs) are distributing voter cards and information leaflets.
