Iran has denied IAEA inspectors access to facilities targeted by U.S. attacks in summer, hindering the agency’s ability to fully assess the damage, IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi said.
“While Iran has allowed inspectors to monitor fuel replacement at the Bushehr nuclear power plant, access to other key nuclear sites remains prohibited,” Grossi said.
He also warned of the danger of entering an era where 25 countries could possess nuclear weapons, compared to the current nine, La Repubblica reported.
The U.S. strikes on June 21, 2025, targeted Iran’s nuclear facilities at Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan, following Israeli attacks on June 13, as part of a 12-day conflict.
