Israel strikes vicinity of Syria's Homs city

Israeli warplanes have carried out strikes on a suburb of the Syrian city of Homs, SANA reported.

No information is currently available on the consequences of the attacks.

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz will meet with Syrian Foreign Minister Assad al-Sheibani this week. 

Earlier, it was reported that Israel and Syria are discussing a possible security deal. Israel announced a policy to demilitarize the area south of Damascus, in southern Syria, following recent conflict between Syrian authorities and the Druze in Suwayda.
