Chinese and Georgian Interior Ministers meet in Beijing

The Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Gela Geladze, and China's Minister of Public Security, Wang Xiaohong, held a meeting in Beijing, during which the ministers noted the importance of partnership and focused on potential reforms in their departments.

During the talks between Gela Geladze and Wang Xiaohong, special attention was also given to need to develop information communication channels.

Geladze reportedly invited his Chinese counterpart to Georgia for a return visit.

Gela Geladze was appointed Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia on May 28, 2025. He previously served in the Ministry of Defense and also as Deputy Head of Georgia's Security Service.
