Astana considers new Turkish trade route through Zangezur Corridor

According to Minister of National Economy Serik Zhumangarin, Kazakhstan may establish a new trade route to Türkiye via the Zangezur Corridor.

Zhumangarin explained that currently, goods are shipped through Azerbaijan to Georgia, or more precisely, to its Black Sea ports.

"The new route will enable access to Nakhchivan and then directly to Türkiye, to its seaports",

Serik Zhumangarin said.
