The Israel Defense Forces confirmed the December 16 operation against a Hezbollah terrorist in Lebanese territory.
The strike took place in the Taybeh neighborhood in southern Lebanon.
This follows last week's IDF's calls for southwestern Lebanese residents' evacuation due to Israeli airstrikes expected to soon begin targeting Hezbollah targets in the area.
"The IDF will soon strike Hezbollah military structures in southern Lebanon in response to attempts to intensify activities in the area",
IDF Spokesperson reported.
