Azerbaijan increases direct investment in Russia's economy by 42%

Azerbaijan increased investment in Russia's economy by 42% in the first 9 months of the year. Russia also increased its investment in Azerbaijan's economy.

Azerbaijan increased direct investment in Russia's economy by 42% in the first 9 months of the year. Investments amounted to nearly $39 mln, the Central Bank of Azerbaijan reports.

Russia's direct investment in Azerbaijan's economy also increased significantly this year, reaching over $181 mln. This represents an 85% increase compared to last year.

Russia also increased its share of Azerbaijan's total investment, increasing its share in the economy from 2.2% to 3.8%.
