According to the Turkish Ministry of National Defense, the Turkish Air Force will participate in NATO's air policing missions.
As part of the alliance's missions, Turkish aircraft will be stationed in Estonia from August to November 2026, and in Romania from December 2026 to March 2027.
The patrols are part of NATO's efforts to strengthen its air defenses.
Türkiye has previously supported similar NATO missions, including deployments to Poland in 2021 and to Romania from 2023 to 2024.
