Trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Georgia surged by more than 40% during the first four months of the year, reaching $385 million, according to Azerbaijan's State Customs Committee.
Exports from Azerbaijan to Georgia rose by 45% year-on-year, totaling $340 million, while imports from Georgia increased by 19%.
Georgia accounted for just over 5% of Azerbaijan's total foreign trade and roughly 3% of its exports.
Italy, Türkiye, and Russia remained Azerbaijan's primary trading partners last year
