Iran to receive Russian grain from Astrakhan Port Zone

A new offshore transshipment complex will soon be opened in the port of Olya, on the Caspian Sea coast, in the Astrakhan Region. It will begin shipping Russian grain to Iran this year.

Construction of a new offshore transshipment complex, located in the port of Olya in the northern part of the Caspian Sea, is nearing completion in the Astrakhan Oblast, the region's Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Energy informs.

The large-scale facility is being built by Astrakhan-based Astra LLC, a resident of the port's special economic zone. The grain transshipment will begin in the nearest time.
