The U.S. administration believes that Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei is alive, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said in an interview with Fox News.
"Well, we have indications that he is, obviously, they (Iranian representatives) claim that he is. We don't have evidence that he's not,"Marco Rubio said.
In early April, The Times, citing intelligence data it had obtained, reported that Mojtaba Khamenei was allegedly undergoing medical treatment and was not taking part in decision-making.
