According to Deputy Economy Minister Khurshed Mustafayev, Russian gas is being delivered to Uzbekistan on time and under agreed terms.
"Supplies are being delivered on time, in accordance with the terms of the agreement",
Mustafayev said.
Agreements on importing Russian natural gas via Kazakhstan were reached in June 2024.
Russian wheat exports to Uzbekistan have increased 16‑fold this year, with the republic receiving 71,000 tonnes.
