According to Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) and special representative of the Russian president, the idea of a Putin-Trump tunnel has gone viral.
Dmitriev previously highlighted the project's technical feasibility, estimating an eight-year construction timeline across the Bering Strait with approximately $8 billion required investment.

The prospectivetunnel between the two countries could be approximately 110 km long.
