A 9.6-ton batch of pork belly successfully passed inspection by the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) in the Oryol and Kursk regions and was shipped to Georgia, according to the press service of the regional agency for veterinary and phytosanitary surveillance.
The exporter was the Kursk Meat Processing Plant, marking its first delivery to Georgia. The plant holds accreditation to export to several countries, including Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Iran, and the UAE.
So far in 2025, the facility located in the Zheleznogorsk district of the Kursk region has exported over 34 tons of meat products to Azerbaijan, the UAE, Vietnam, and Hong Kong.
