Kazakh Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov announced that the next meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council will take place in Shymkent on March 26-27, 2026.
As Olzhas Bektenov noted, Astana will chair the EAEU next year. According to Bektenov, the Kazakh authorities recognize the responsibility of this mission and will take the necessary steps to develop the organization.
"I would like to invite you to Shymkent on March 26-27, 2026, for the annual events, the next meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, and the now-traditional Digital Forum",
Olzhas Bektenov said.
The Digital Forum, a platform for discussing digitalization and modern technologies, will also be held in Shymkent.
