Azerbaijan celebrates Fuzuli City Day

Today marks the fifth anniversary of the liberation of Fuzuli from long-standing Armenian occupation.

President Ilham Aliyev commemorated the anniversary through social media, stating: "The History of Our Victory: October 17, 2020, Fuzuli".

The President established October 17 as Fuzuli City Day in July 2023, designating it an annual official holiday.

This year's celebrations include cultural performances, concerts, and exhibitions, concluding with an evening fireworks display.
