Georgia's Imedi responds to UK sanctions

Imedi TV (Georgia) issued a statement after the UK imposed sanctions against it, calling the restrictions pointless.

The sanctions imposed by London are meaningless, a statement released by Georgia's Imedi TV today reads.

”The UK sanctions have no value. The only value for Imedi TV is the trust of the Georgian people,”

According to the statement, it is due to the trust of viewers that Imedi has maintained its status as the highest-rated Georgian television station for many years.
