Iran condemns kidnapping of Venezuelan president

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi commented on the latest developments after the U.S. attacks on Venezuela.

Araghchi strongly condemned the U.S. military aggression against Venezuela and the kidnapping of the legitimate Venezuelan president and his wife.

He considered this action a clear example of state terrorism and a clear attack on the sovereignty and national will of the Venezuelan people.

The diplomat emphasized the Islamic Republic of Iran’s support for the people and elected government of Venezuela.
