According to Turkey's Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK), the January-July period saw a 26% increase in Russian pipeline gas imports compared to the same period in 2024.

TASS reported that July 2025 alone saw 1.78 billion cubic meters delivered via the TurkStream and Blue Stream pipelines.

Overall, the 12.7 billion cubic meters supplied in the first seven months of 2025 marked a 26.4% year-on-year increase. In 2024, pipeline gas supplies to Turkey had grown by 2.6%, exceeding 21 billion cubic meters, with total gas supplies including LNG surpassing 21.5 billion cubic meters.

Kremlin Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov recently affirmed that Russian gas supplies to Türkiye continue uninterrupted, with both pipelines operating at full capacity. He emphasized Türkiye's sovereignty in choosing its energy partners.

Meanwhile, Türkiye's Russian oil imports fell to 1.2 million tons in September—the lowest since April—down from 1.6 million tons in June.

Russia supplies gas to Türkiye through Blue Stream, operational since 2003, and TurkStream, launched in 2020.
