Сourt refuses to close case against expresident of Armenia

The court refused to dismiss the case against Sargsyan, who is accused of involvement in the Karabakh conflict, according to Armenian media reports.

Lawyer Amram Makinyan petitioned to close the case, citing illegal methods of obtaining evidence, but Judge Aram Grigoryan rejected this petition.

Let us recall that the third president of Armenia became a defendant in a criminal case concerning the alienation of land plots on Isakov Avenue during his tenure as the Minister of Defense.
