Makhachkala Commercial Seaport’s participation in the national project "Labor Productivity" is already yielding its first results: the enterprise's production processes were optimized and the annual profit grew.
The Makhachkala Commercial Seaport improved its work parameters in a short time after joining the "Labor Productivity" national project, the press service of the Ministry of Economy and Territorial Development of Dagestan reports.
"The processing time in the port decreased by 30%, inventory turnover decreased by 57%, and the output of the teams increased by 10%. The economic effect of the lean manufacturing tools use amounted to 9.6 mn rubles," the ministry informs.
During the further implementation of the program, production optimization will be introduced in other accessible areas.
Work on the national project at the Makhachkala seaport will continue, the program is projected for three years.
