The Czech Republic will purchase Nivas produced in Azerbaijan, Czech media reports.
Czech media outlet iDnes.cz reports the vehicles will be acquired under a fleet modernization program, with importers confirming that Azerbaijani-assembled Nivas meet European safety and environmental standards.
The model maintains popularity in the Czech Republic due to its appearance in the cult television series "The Guest," with prices set at approximately 500,000 crowns (around 2 million rubles).
Niva production commenced in Azerbaijan in March 2024.
