Oman may start accepting Mir cards

Russia’s Mir payment system may be launched in Oman, with cooperation in this area having already begun, chairman of the Oman-Russia Joint Business Council Hamed Al Dhahab said.

"It will be launched. We intend to do it," Hamed Al Dhahab said.

Speaking about the timeframe, he noted that it depends on both sides.

"I don't know [how soon it will be possible] because we're working together. But it will happen. We've already started working," Hamed Al Dhahab said.
