On Monday, November 24, the euro fell to 89.89 rubles. This marks the first time the European currency has traded below the 90-ruble mark since July 10, 2025.
Meanwhile, the US dollar declined to 78.54 rubles, a level not seen since May 2023.
The ruble's strength is attributed to rising demand for the currency from exporters preparing for upcoming tax deductions, coupled with an improving external economic climate.
