Netanyahu plans to visit U.S. in late December

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is expected to visit Washington in late December, Army Radio reported.

Netanyahu will meet with U.S. President Donald Trump on December 28-31, but the dates are not yet finalized.

Earlier, the Israeli PM's office announced that Trump invited Netanyahu to meet with him at the White House for what would be the latter’s fifth visit since Trump took office in January. The meeting is likely to focus on an emerging security deal between Israel and Syria as well as coordination on implementing Trump’s Gaza peace plan.
