Implementation of Free Trade Agreement with Iran begins

The operational phase of the Free Trade Agreement between the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and Iran has commenced, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced during a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Moscow.

"The practical implementation of the Free Trade Agreement with Iran has begun",

Mikhail Mishustin said.

According to Mishustin, agreements have also been concluded with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Mongolia. The Prime Minister added that the "first round of negotiations with India" took place at the end of last month.

 

Mishustin emphasized the need to maintain the current pace to establish new sustainable supply chains and increase the presence of EAEU-produced goods in global markets.
