Khachaturyan: Armenian authorities committed to peace in South Caucasus

President Vahagn Khachaturyan stated that Yerevan views the consolidation of peace in the South Caucasus as essential and is actively working towards this objective. He made these remarks while addressing the "International Year of Peace and Trust 2025" forum.

The President noted that Armenia and Azerbaijan initialed a peace agreement on August 8, 2025, in Washington. Furthermore, at that time, the parties agreed to implement the "Trump Route" project, or the Zangezur Corridor.

Vahagn Khachaturyan called on his foreign colleagues participating in the forum to support the process of establishing lasting peace and security in the region.
