Cable cars closed on Elbrus due to storm

The cable cars on Mount Elbrus have been closed due to adverse weather conditions, as announced by the resort's press service on Sunday.

Elbrus Resort reported.

The service reported that the current temperature is -7°C at the Azau station and -15°C at the Garabashi station, with wind speeds reaching up to 20 meters per second.

The closure follows a storm warning issued by the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Kabardino-Balkaria region, forecasting potential wind gusts of up to 30 meters per second.
