Azerbaijani Ambassador to Jordan Shahin Abdullayev met with the President of the Jordan Chamber of Commerce, Al-Hajj Tawfiq, to discuss enhancing bilateral trade and investment.
"We discussed the current state of trade and economic relations between Azerbaijan and Jordan, as well as prospects for further development of cooperation",
Azerbaijani Embassy in Jordan said.
The talks follow a prior agreement between the two governments to establish direct air service between Amman and Baku in 2026.
Let us note that in November, Jordanian authorities announced their intention to involve Azerbaijan in projects in Syria. Jordanian Industry Minister Yarub Al-Qudah stated that the country's businesses need the support of a strong partner to implement investment plans in Syria.
