The Azerbaijan Mine Action Agency has released its weekly report on demining operations carried out between July 6 and 12.
Demining teams cleared areas in 13 districts and the city of Khankendi. More than 100 mines and over 200 pieces of unexploded ordnance were neutralized, and more than 1,420 hectares of land are now safe for local residents.
According to Azerbaijani authorities, more than 70 people have been killed and over 340 injured by mine explosions since 2020.
