Armenia approves date of parliamentary elections

Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan signed a decree on Friday scheduling the next parliamentary election.

The next parliamentary elections in Armenia will be held on June 7, according to an executive order, signed by the president and published on his website.

The document rules "to set the elections for June 7, 2026."

This date was earlier named as a possible variant by the country’s election authority.
