Azerbaijan produced 6.6 million tons of oil during the first three months of the year, according to the country's Energy Ministry. The year-on-year production decline was just over 4%.
The Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli field accounted for nearly 4 million tons of that volume, with output falling by 2.5%.
Less than 1 million tons of gas condensate were extracted from the Shah Deniz field, marking a 10% decrease.
SOCAR's share of production amounted to 1.7 million tons of oil, representing a 5.6% decline.
