In the first three quarters of 2025, Azerbaijani investment in the Georgian economy reached $105.2 million, preliminary Sakstat data shows.
Investment statistics peaked in the third quarter, reaching $56.7 million, double the figures for the first and second quarters, which amounted to $24.9 million and $23.6 million, respectively.
Compared to the same January-September period in 2024, investment volume grew by 89%, representing an increase of $49.5 million.
Azerbaijan accounted for 10.6% of all foreign direct investment in Georgia during the third quarter, ranking fourth behind Türkiye ($70 million), Spain ($72.1 million), and the USA ($93.5 million).
Azerbaijani investments covered key sectors of the Georgian economy: real estate, transportation, public utilities, and manufacturing.
