Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry has extended congratulations to Russia on the occasion of Russia Day, the country's national holiday celebrated on June 12.
"We convey our sincere congratulations to the Government and people of the Russian Federation on the occasion of Russia Day",
the ministry said in a statement posted on its official social media page.
Russia Day has been observed as a public holiday and non-working day since 1991.
